Film, as a medium for playful and thus accessible science education, enjoys great popularity, continually pushing boundaries both in content and artistry. This is demonstrated by the annualGlobal Science Film Festival as well as the award-winning short films of the FAN-Awards (known as the Mercator Award until 2020), which we produce in collaboration with various illustrators.
